Job summary

Digital Edge DC in Navi Mumbai invites an experienced Civil Procurement professional to join our expanding data center procurement team. You will manage civil packages, run tender cycles, and ensure governance and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a BE Civil, 8–10 years' procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of contracts, risk, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil required.
• 8–10 years' experience with procurement and civil packages.
• Core experience in Purchase / Procurement.
• Sound knowledge of procurement processes and tendering.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium level civil procurement deals.

What we need:

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, India, this a individual contributor role and the role will require the candidate to support procurement function for civil packages. This role will be based at Navi Mumbai site office.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing small to medium level deals to conclusion stage/decision making.
• Good in running tender cycle and Tender event schedule including compliances and good governance practices.
• Good expeditor, Adherence to timelines and timebound working.
• Sound in commercial terms and conditions, negotiation
• Co-ordination on Supply Chain Management approvals, processes and interdepartmental collaboration for an operational owner side organization.
• Coordinate for Procurement, contract, System and commercial activities.
• Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

• A Civil Procurement Candidate could be assessed on:
• Procurement cycle time.

The successful candidate:

• Qualification – Bachelor of Engineering - Civil only
• Experience – 8-10 years maximum overall experience. Must have procurement experience and handled Civil packages
• Specialized Qualification if any - Core Experience in Purchase / Procurement
• Technical Skill required - Sound in Purchase / Procurement, Terms and conditions, Negotiation, Tendering.
• Soft Skill Required - Good Communication, Positive attitude, Negotiation, team player
• Must and may have - Must Have - Understanding of Procurement process, Understanding variances, experience of handling Audits, Capex purchase.

May have – Experience of handling legal contracts, Experience of Data centre, good vendor base information in Capex.
