Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services India Private Limited is seeking a procurement professional to analyze MRP/ERP procurement requirements aligned with the production plan and to place POs in SAP ERP, while maintaining daily supplier communication and handling PO changes.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of experience, fluent English, and solid MS Excel skills. Basic supply chain knowledge and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Basic software skills and strong MS Excel knowledge.
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRP/ERP procurement requirements according to production plan.
• Place Purchase Orders (PO) according to ERP requirements.
• Manage daily communication with suppliers.
• Manage PO changes, including expediting/de-expediting.
• Ensure PO linking to procurement rules (lot size, lead time, price, currency, unit).
• Issue procurement KPIs (On-time delivery, Lead Time, in-progress activities).
• Perform HSE duties and follow HSE policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on HSE updates and ergonometric training.

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze MRP/ERP procurement requirements according to production plan
• Place Purchase Orders (PO) according to ERP requirement
• Manage daily communication with supplier
• Manage PO changes, as such as Expedite/De-expedite
• Ensure PO accordance with procurement rules and policy (lot size, lead-time, price, currency, unit)
• Issue procurement related KPIs (On time delivery, Procurement Lead Time, In progress activities, etc)
• Perform all Health, Safety & Environment(HSE) related duties as per his / her job requirements and follow HSE norms as applicable.
• Adhere and respect all HSE procedures/policies/ practices
• Be aware on latest updates on HSE and implement/ follow
• Follow ergo exercises as trained by the medical practitioner/ ergonomics training

• Experinece: 5-8yrs
