Matrix Comsec in Vadodara, Gujarat seeks a proactive Deputy – Procurement to optimize costs and ensure material availability. You will manage PR/PO, negotiate with suppliers, and drive SAP-based procurement processes in a manufacturing setup.

You will collaborate with PPC, Stores, Engineering, Quality and Finance to mitigate risks and improve supplier performance, while monitoring OTD and lead times. Relevant experience is essential.

Qualificações

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing procurement.
• Experience in sourcing raw materials and components is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in PR/PO management and SAP-based processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage PR to PO conversion and track procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery of materials.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate costs, MOQs, lead times and terms.
• Monitor overdue POs, material shortages, and procurement risks.
• Collaborate with PPC, Stores, Engineering, Quality and Finance to ensure material availability.
• Use SAP S/4HANA to track PRs, POs and material requirements.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy – Procurement to manage procurement activities, ensure timely material availability, optimize purchasing costs, and maintain supplier performance. The role requires hands‑on experience in manufacturing procurement, supplier coordination, purchase order management, commercial negotiations, and SAP-based procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) conversion and track pending procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and critical items.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, compare prices, and support commercial negotiations on cost, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor overdue purchase orders, supplier commitments, material shortages, and procurement risks.
• Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure material availability and resolve procurement issues.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on‑time delivery (OTD), and support supplier development and alternate sourcing initiatives.
• Use SAP S/4HANA to track PRs, POs, material requirements, and procurement status.
• Analyse procurement data, purchase price variance, and supplier performance metrics.
• Escalate material availability risks that may impact production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

• Experience in sourcing raw materials, electronic components, electrical components, or mechanical parts is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in supplier follow‑up, purchase order management, commercial negotiations, and SAP‑based procurement processes.
