AP Management Consultants in Tamil Nadu seeks a procurement professional to optimize RM/PM planning and supplier coordination for FMCG production. You will work with HO and planning teams to ensure material availability and on-time despatch.

The role emphasizes inventory control, supplier lead times, and quality issue MIS. Strong SAP MM and Excel skills, plus good communication, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Thorough Knowledge of SAP & MM Module & Excel.
• Good communication Skills.
• Knowledge of Local sources of materials
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Basic knowledge of production processes and FMCG RM/PM

Responsibilities

• Plan for RM/PM basis plan shared by HO Team/Planning Team
• Plan vs actual adherence at Manufacturing units and ensuring timely material availability for production plan.
• PO Generation and co-ordination with vendors for timely Despatch of material
• Ensuring orders are made with the necessary compliance.
• To control inventory levels at factories by ensuring minimal obsolescence
• Ensuring timely action is taken basis vendor lead times and capabilities.
• Working closely with production teams and Quality teams to understand issues related to material quality and maintain MIS for quality issues.
• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
• Carries out all necessary procurement activities.
• Verifies quantification of orders
