Job summary

Nirgandh in Faridabad is establishing a new FRP/GRP fabrication unit to manufacture rail components. We seek a hands-on Production Manager who can own the technical and production side from pattern and mould making through to moulding and dispatch, and run day-to-day operations independently.

You will lead end-to-end FRP/GRP moulding, ensure railway-grade designs, manage safety and compliance, plan production against PO drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and Railway engineers to resolve

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Production, Plastics/Polymer or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 815 years in FRP/GRP/composites moulding, including 35 years in a supervisory or production-in-charge role
• Direct prior experience on Indian Railways / RDSO-approved projects required
• Demonstrated ability to run production operations with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end FRP/GRP moulding process pattern development, mould making, moulding (hand lay-up/spray-up/RTM/infusion), and finishing
• Understand different FRP part making for Railways
• Ensure design and product manufacturing as per the laid out designs by indian Railways
• Manage Compliances as per the RDSO guidelines.
• Plan and control production schedules against Railway purchase orders and approved drawings
• Diagnose and resolve moulding defects; drive root-cause corrective action
• Recruit, train and supervise moulders, laminators and helpers for a brand-new facility
• Own shift planning, HSE/safety compliance, and unit layout/setup
• Coordinate with resin/fibre/gelcoat suppliers and with Railway/OEM client engineers on production-side queries
