Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is hiring a Process and Operational Support Engineer to act as process owner within a cross-functional team, driving production documents and ensuring compliance to specifications and quality systems.

Qualification includes BE/BTech in Mechanical/Polymer/Manufacturing or related fields, 3–5 years wind industry experience, and CAD/Windchill proficiency. Knowledge of PFMEA, DMAIC, 8D and ISO 9001:2015 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Polymer/Mechanical/Manufacturing or related field.
• 3–5 years in Wind Industries, Engineering, Manufacturing or Aeronautical sectors.
• Experience with PFMEA, DMAIC, 8D and Quality systems.
• ISO 9001:2015 / VDA 6.3 knowledge preferred.
• Windchill experience and CAD skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as process owner, drive cross-functional teamwork.
• Update and maintain production documents and site standards.
• Ensure products/processes meet specifications and quality systems.
• Ensure QDA/quality requirements are complied with.
• Lead quality improvements and PFMEA / control plan tasks.
• Analyze process performance and provide engineering data reports.
• Support internal/external non-conformity handling and problem solving.
• Apply 8D, DMAIC, 5Why tools for root cause analysis.
• Provide technical support and cross-department coordination.
• Foster wind industry related process improvements.

We are hiring for Process and Operational Support Engineer

Qualification: BE/Btech in Polymer / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial / Aerodynamics/Electrical etc.

Contract Base Job : 6 Months to 1 Year Extendable

Role & responsibilities

• 1. As an Engineer -you will act as process responsible and work in a cross functional team
• 2. You will have to drive the production document updating and maintenance, factories, siteEnsure that products and processes comply with specifications.
• 3.Ensure that quality system & QDA system comply with requirements.
• 4.Influence any process that affects quality within the factory and push for, facilitate and support quality improvements.
• 5.Implement the task of Create / Update of PFMEA, Control plan, Process work instructions
• 6.Continue to improve quality (Accountable for process quality indicators' performance and analysis)
• 7. Maintain and optimize QDA & NC system
• 8.Responsible for a systematic approach to problem solving by applying tools as 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, PFMEA, etc., where reporting is a central part of the daily work
• 9.Responsible for performance and cycle time analysis, Engineering data reporting
• 10. Technical support for internal and external Non-Conformity quality handling

Competencies

• Must have good knowledge on blades manufacturing process
• Ability to solve the problems by using relevant methods and tools •Experience in AUTOCAD
• Capable to do a Risk assessment by using FMEA tools and coordinating Technical projects cross departments and cultures
• Experience in Engineering change management (ECM)
• Ability to Create & deliver solutions
• Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
• Knowledge in Windchill

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in working in Wind Industries, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automobile, Aeronautical Industries
• Certification in AUTOCAD/CREO/ Six Sigma Green belt / ISO 9001:2015 Auditor / VDA 6.3 certified auditor preferred
• Experience in Windchill Software
• Experience in PowerBI apps/ dashboard developments is an added advantage
