Job summary

Adimem Technologies, a unit of Vipul Organics Limited, seeks a Process Engineer to lead process design for WTP/ETP/ZLD and membrane systems. You will perform engineering calculations, prepare PFDs/P&IDs, select equipment, and contribute to project execution from concept through commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years in water treatment or membrane processes, BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (ME/M.Tech preferred), and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, HYSYS/CHEMCAD, and MS

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering is essential.
• ME/Tech degree preferred in Chemical, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
• 3–10 years of relevant Process Engineering experience.
• Experience with water treatment systems and membrane technologies is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design WTP, STP, ETP, CETP and membrane-based systems.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations and mass balances.
• Size equipment and select pumps, vessels, filters, and dosing systems.
• Prepare datasheets, specs, and process notes.
• Develop layouts, GA drawings, and review GFC drawings.
• Support proposals with BOQs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors and support project execution and commissioning.
• Prepare operation manuals and commissioning procedures.

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for process design, engineering calculations, preparation of technical documents, equipment selection, vendor coordination, proposal support, and technical assistance during project execution and commissioning.

The role offers exposure to complete project engineering and provides an opportunity to work on advanced membrane technologies and industrial water treatment projects.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), CETP, Tertiary Treatment Plants, and membrane-based treatment systems.
• Preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and process calculations.
• Designing and sizing process equipment such as pumps, pressure vessels, filters, chemical dosing systems, blowers, tanks, and membrane systems.
• Preparing equipment datasheets, technical specifications, process notes, and engineering documentation.
• Developing plant layouts, piping layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and reviewing Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Supporting the Proposal and Sales teams with process design inputs, BOQs, technical specifications, and costing.
• Coordinating with equipment vendors for technical discussions and reviewing vendor drawings and documents.
• Supporting project execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant performance optimization.
• Preparing Operation & Maintenance Manuals, commissioning procedures, and process documentation.
• Working closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Civil, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure timely project delivery.

• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering.
• Experience in Water Treatment, Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Membrane Systems, or EPC Projects will be preferred.
