Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Process Engineer – Testing & Packaging to join our semiconductor manufacturing team at Mohali.

You will drive wafer-level testing and packaging in cleanroom environments, ensuring high-quality output and robust process control. You will work across fabrication, quality, and integration teams to sustain production efficiency and product reliability. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in semiconductor cleanroom environments, specifically in Testing and Packaging operations.
• Practical exposure to wafer‑level testing, inspection, and packaging tools.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes such as Etching, Deposition and Metrology is a plus.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems and process documentation practices is advantageous.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations, process execution and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor wafer-level testing and semiconductor packaging processes in cleanroom environments.
• Operate testing, inspection, and packaging tools to ensure product quality and process accuracy.
• Support defect tracking, yield monitoring, and quality validation activities.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and perform root cause analysis for testing and packaging issues.
• Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, ISO 9001 standards, and quality documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess hands‑on experience in cleanroom testing and packaging processes, along with a strong foundation in quality systems and process documentation. As a collaborative professional, the candidate will ensure reliable device validation, support process stability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor wafer‑level testing and semiconductor packaging processes within cleanroom environments.
• Operate testing, inspection, and packaging tools to ensure product quality and process accuracy.
• Support process control activities including defect tracking, yield monitoring, and quality validation.
• Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and perform root cause analysis for testing and packaging issues.
• Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, quality standards, and ISO 9001 compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with fabrication, quality, and integration teams to ensure smooth workflow between manufacturing stages.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.
• Provide cross‑functional support in process monitoring, customer coordination, and business development activities as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement and process efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in semiconductor cleanroom environments, specifically in Testing and Packaging operations.
• Practical exposure to wafer‑level testing, inspection, and packaging tools.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes such as Etching, Deposition, and Metrology is an added advantage.
• Exposure to quality management systems and process documentation practices; ISO 9001 certification is a strong advantage.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations, process execution, and quality control activities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills with ability to support cross‑functional coordination and customer‑facing activities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working in high‑precision manufacturing environments.
