Job summary

Segula Technologies India is seeking a Process Engineer - TCF - Electrical with 7+ years experience for a permanent full-time role in Chennai. The candidate will lead EE failure analysis, manage ECU HW/SW calibration, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to drive electrical validation on new models.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong diagnostic tool expertise, including CAN, K-line and UDS protocols, with experience in HIL testing and vehicle simulation benches.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical diagnostics and diag tools.
• Experience in Vehicle/ECU level calibration and software flashing.
• Familiarity with CAN, K-line and UDS protocols.

• Ability to manage EE issues with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EE failures on harness, ECU and software for new projects.
• Maintain ECU hardware/software, calibration and configuration.
• Report EE issues and track countermeasures with stakeholders.
• Maintain vehicle simulation bench and procure required components.
• Train line operators for 1st level EE failure analysis.
• Ensure proper vehicle electrical diagnostics and test setups.

Process Engineer - TCF - Electrical

• Permanent Contract

• At least 5 years of experience (Senior level)

Mission

• EE Industrialisation Pilot - Analyze the EE failures on Harness, ECU, Software etc


• and pilot thier resolution.


• Manage and maintain the ECU HW, SW, Calibration and Configuration for new projects.


• Manage weekly meeting to report all the EE issues and check countermeasure progress status with EE Stakeholders(Architect, Designers, Project management, VQA, Facility etc)


• Maintain the vehicle simulation bench - Plan and procure the components, software required for new models.


• Study the capability of VEP/EOL facility and Coordinate the changes for new models.


• Train line operators of the plant to perform 1st level EE failure analysis.


• Create checksheet based on the Vehicle specification, System architecture,


• Process standard and Validate correct behavior of EE vehicle functions on pre


• production cars.


• Strong knowledge about vehicle electrical diagnostics and Diag tools(CLIP, Consult, DDT2000, Scaners, CANALYZER)


• Strong Knowledge on communication protocols like CAN, K-line, UDS.


• Experience in Vehicle/ECU level Calibration, configuration and Software flashing using diag tools


• Experience in Vehicle EE problem solving, Ability to identify design issues is prefered.


• Ability to handle test devices/Measuring equipments like DAS, Oscilloscope, CANALYZER, Recorder


• Knowledge about CAN message intrepritation(CAN Database).


• Experience in HIL testing, Test bench creation, Vehicle simulation bench etc.


• Experience in Installation of EOL facilty


• Experience in maintaining the EOL server and manage the data flow
