Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical/Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 3-5 years of related experience in electrical integration.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and PLM Teamcenter, ECU concepts.

Responsibilities

• Package EE components per vehicle architecture and surroundings.
• Identify EE change parts list to meet feature requirements.
• Understand feature lists and variants; prepare change parts and system/subsystem modules.
• Support generating vehicle electrical integration requirements and BOM/Spec Freeze.

Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

• Packaging of EE components in accordance with vehicle architecture & surroundings.
• Identify EE change parts list to meet feature list requirement for a project.
• To understand feature list, variant or Personas matrix understanding, impact on ECUs, Change part list preparation and understanding vehicle aggregates modules creation for System and Sub System like(infotainment system, ADAS System, Cluster, Engine management System)
• Support generating vehicle electrical integration requirements.
• BOM and Spec Freeze as per feature list.
• BOM matrix for all trim levels based on latest versions of feature list for EE aggregates.
• Conduct & lead DMU review, feedback, suggestion for issue resolution & co-ordination with Designers.
• Feasibility check of packaging E&E aggregate within styling theme.
• Participation in packaging/styling review meetings.
• Space claim models for New or Carryover modified parts.
• Design of plastic metal/plastic brackets as per component packaging.
• To ensure 3D/2D drawing correctness and release in PLM within stipulated time.
• Preparation of Complexity matrix as per VC.
• DMU review for closure of all DMU, VLO, SE, Mfg issues.
• Ensure & Track for software strategy defined & agreed with software COC.
• ECU software releases in PLM Teamcenter.
• E&E support in preparation of Service and Owners manual.
• Proto build co-ordination & issue resolution support.
• Participation in design review/suggestions for issue resolution.
• TCUA, DML, Engineering change management process aware
• Design Validation plan (DVP)/ CTR- sign-off with CFT, supplier & IDT.
• Vehicle Build (Alpha, BETA, PO, PP, SOP) Internal Stake-holder Coordination.
• MINT3, BITS, VLO, CIB, QIB Issue Closure in Mint 3 Champion.
• Engineering Sign-off with CFT.
• STN and Homologation documentation
• Tracking of EOL tool development
