Job summary

PMECH, established in 1988, invites an experienced Process Engineer (10+ years) to join our Oil & Gas engineering team in Navi Mumbai. The role involves detailed design, process data sheets, and heat/mass balance, with exposure to API/BS standards and vendor document reviews.

The candidate should be proficient in process calculations and equipment sizing, and participate in HAZOP sessions and design reviews for turnkey projects across refineries, fertilizers, and storage facilities.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of detailed design and engineering experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, refineries, fertilizers, storage and tank farms.
• Proficiency in process design calculations and equipment sizing.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Process Basis Design, P&ID, PFD and utility diagram.
• Heat and Material Balance.
• HYSYS Simulation.
• Preparation of Calculations Sheets, Process Data sheets for all equipment.
• Sizing of equipment / piping etc.
• Preparation of Operating Manual.
• Review of process related Vendor documentations.
• Participate in HAZOP / Design Review meeting etc.
• Review client drawings and documents.
• Liaise with client to resolve any project technical issues.
• Knowledge of international code and practices like API / BS related to process engineering is essential.

• Ability to apply different International Design Code requirement like API , NFPA , BS , Shell DEP.
• Ability to perform all type of process design calculation
• Skill to produce error free calculation and documents
• Hand on experience with Process engineering software's
