Job summary

Neilsoft in Pune seeks a Process Lead Engineer with 15-20 years of experience. The role centers on Basic Engineering, FEED and Detailed Engineering for EPC and consultancy projects, with emphasis on process design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets.

You will perform equipment sizing and hydraulic calculations, conduct process simulations using HYSYS/Plus/UniSim, and participate in HAZOPs and safety reviews, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Basic Engineering, FEED and Detailed Engineering for EPC and engineering consultancy projects.
• Develop and review Process Design Basis, Heat & Material Balance (HMB), PFDs, P&IDs, Utility Summary, Equipment List, Line List, and Process Datasheets.
• Perform equipment sizing for Pumps, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Filters, and Utility Packages.
• Carry out hydraulic calculations, including line sizing, pump sizing, control valve sizing, pressure drop calculations, and relief valve sizing.
• Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, Pro-II or equivalent tools.
• Participate in HAZOP, Process Safety Reviews, Design Reviews, Model Reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Prepare and review Control Philosophy, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Interlock Philosophy, Operating Manuals, and Technical Specifications.
• Evaluate vendor documents and technical offers; participate in client discussions.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Project Management teams; mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare control philosophy, interlock diagrams, operating manuals, and specs.
• Review vendor documents and engage in technical discussions with clients/vendors.
• Coordinate cross-discipline teams to ensure timely project execution; mentor juniors.
