Job summary

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd in Thane is seeking a Process Design Engineer/Manager responsible for process design and engineering for pre-bid and detail engineering projects.

You will prepare PFDs, P&IDs, piping line lists, and process equipment data sheets, develop control philosophies, review vendor drawings, and support pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• 10–13 years of process plant experience.
• Experience with PFDs and P&IDs (PFDs/HMB).
• Hazop, SIL and safety studies experience.
• Review vendor drawings and participate in Pre-/Detail engineering.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of PFDs & HMB.
• Preparation of P&IDs.
• Preparation of piping line lists and process equipment lists.
• Development of process equipment data sheets.
• Preparation of control & operation philosophy and cause & effect diagrams.
• Review vendor drawings.
• Interaction with vendors/clients & DECs.
• Support in Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning procedures.
• Site visits as required.
• Participation in Hazop, SIL and other safety studies.
• Attending FAT & SAT.
• Preparation of operation & maintenance manuals.
