Job summary

IKEA in Bengaluru seeks a Finance Process Expert with deep SAP I2P knowledge (S/4HANA, VIM, ECC) to lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of standardized, automated finance processes. • Ability to assess change impacts, protect global templates, and monitor compliance.
• Experience driving efficiency, standardization, and data quality improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management across global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage change, support adoption, and influence decision-making forums.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end processes with data quality and compliance focus.
• Finance process expert with end-to-end knowledge of Invoice to Pay and SAP (S/4HANA, VIM, ECC).
• Protect the standard template by reviewing development demands to prevent deviations from standards.
• Collaborate with Digital and other process areas to ensure end-to-end compliance, data quality, and automation.
• Evaluate tax, legal, and statutory requests for high compliance and accuracy; articulate impact on efficiency and cost.
• Provide recommendations aligned with global standards and ensure execution accordingly.
• Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions.
• Manage changes in business processes by coordinating transformations and rollout plans.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes and foster a performance-driven culture across GBO and local entities.

Your responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of relevant end-to-end processes, embedding data quality and compliance, while leveraging subject matter expertise to drive standardised, automated ways of working and continuous improvement, and protecting the standard finance template to ensure changes enhance business value, maximise automation, and maintain low cost, in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Finance process expert with strong end-to-end knowledge of Invoice to Pay, combined with deep SAP (S/4HANA, VIM and/or ECC) expertise.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Deep expert of I2P processes; accountable to protect the standard template by reviewing & approving all development demands to prevent deviations from standards and compromise of business value. Working with S2P sub processes to protect I2P (vendor data, sourcing, requisitioning, GR, payments, accounting etc).
• Lead collaboration across processes with fellow custodians in Digital and other process areas to ensure end-to-end processes deliver compliance, high data quality, strong automation, and process effectiveness, steer development towards the use of standard technology and AI.
• Evaluate all Tax, legal & statutory requests coming from countries and establish suitable design options to ensure high compliance & accuracy; clearly articulate the impact on process efficiency, automation, business change, and cost.
• Provide decision-makers with recommendations on preferred solutions aligned with global standards. Ensure execution in line with global standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions.
• Manage changes related to business process updates by identifying required transformations, impacted stakeholders, and aligning with process owners on communication and rollout plans.
• Monitor and drive business adoption of standardized processes, fostering a performance-driven culture across Global Business Operations (GBO) and local entities.
