Skynet Placements & Outsourcing Services is seeking a Process Control Engineer to design, implement, test, commission, and optimize process control and automation systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.

The Process Control Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, testing. commissioning, and optimization of process control and automation systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.
This role ensures that treatment processes operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with regulatory permit requirements, while supporting efficient plant operation and lifecycle sustainability.
The Process Control Engineer acts as a technical authority for PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, control strategies, and process automation across physical, chemical, and biological treatment systems.

This job involves some travel, both domestic and international. Process controls engineers are ambassadors of the company in servicing our clients and customers. For this reason, good communication skills are necessary.

Ability to use a personal computer (MS Word & Excel) at a high level of proficiency. Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in developing the process that controls documents like control narrative, alarm list, and Cause & Effect. Knowledge and experience in chemical processes involved in Pre-Treatment, Demineralization, Reverse Osmosis, and Thermal concentrators is preferred.
Diploma/Associate/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering,
1-2 years of experience in the water treatment industry is preferred.
