Job summary

Lektus Infrastructure is seeking professionals experienced in process plants and water/wastewater projects to design and engineer equipment layouts, hydraulic calculations and process diagrams for water, wastewater and desalination facilities.

The role requires familiarity with international codes, strong English communication, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across design and project management. Passport and global project experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Process Plants, Water/Wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of design processes and engineering designs at different project stages.
• Knowledge of international codes, practices and global engineering standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Collaborative skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams.
• Good Spoken English and written English is essential.
• Experience on projects from Middle East, Europe and USA projects are preferred.
• Should have a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Equipment Layout & Civil Outline drawings for Water, Wastewater and Desalination Plants.
• Preparation of Hydraulic Calculation, Hydraulic Flow Diagram & Process Flow Diagram
• Preparation of Pump Head Calculation and Blower Head Calculation.
• Preparation of Process Calculations for Biological and Physical Unit processes in Water, Wastewater and Desalination Plants.
• Preparation of Technical Datasheets for all rotary and static equipments. & Technical Bid Evaluation
• Preparation of line sizing and pipe wall thickness calculation.
• Preparation of RFQ for Package items such as compressor, lime handling system and co2 storage system and Degasifier system etc
• Preparation and checking of mechanical GA drawings as per the bought-out details.
• Coordination of other disciplines such as Process, Civil, Electrical and instrumentation.
• Co-ordination of site team and preparation of as built drawings.
• To understand the design risk and assumptions associated with the project and manage this risk.
• Undertake post project reviews to identify and communicate lessons learnt and best practice.
• Identify potential improvements to the clients systems and procedures.
