Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch functions.
• Lead production planning and execution to achieve business targets, delivery commitments and customer requirements.
• Optimize plant capacity utilization, manpower productivity and machine efficiency to maximize operational performance.
• Strategize raw material and packing material planning to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
• Govern quality management systems and ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Lead defect reduction initiatives and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Maintain and optimize management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other applicable certifications.
• Optimize operational costs through scrap reduction, process improvements and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
• Verify and optimize product costing to support customer requirements and business profitability.
• Build employee capability through training, skill development and performance management and succession planning initiatives.
• Govern compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, customer audits and statutory requirements.

The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining statutory compliance and building a high-performance manufacturing culture.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Drive overall plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch functions.
