Qualifications

• Must hold an ASHA CCC and be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with adult population preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Be insurable by Kendal-Crosslands Communities’ professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathology services for residents as defined by state licensure.

Description

The primary function of our Speech Language Pathologist role is to provide Occupational Therapy (ST) services for residents of Kendal-Crosslands Communities (KCC) as defined - by the Pennsylvania State Board of ST Licensure; Serves on committees as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness and/or the Rehabilitation Services Manager. Actively participates in in-service training programs, both within the KCC community and within professional programs outside of KCC; Maintains clinical medical record documentation to meet all Federal and State requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Holds an ASHA certificate of clinical competency (CCC)
• A minimum of two years’ experience working with adult population preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Must be insurable by the Kendal-Crosslands Communities professional liability insurance.

Physical Demands:

• Walking, standing, and bending most of the day.
• Able to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents weighing up to 250 pounds including wheelchair transport on indoor and outdoor surfaces.
