Job summary

ThoughtSol Infotech Ltd. is seeking a skilled Printer Engineer in Delhi to diagnose, repair, and service HP, Xerox, and Canon printers including Deskjet, A4, and A3 models. You will diagnose at card and hardware levels, repair boards, motors, and sensors, and perform preventive maintenance for clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with printer mechanics, firmware, and testing tools, plus independent field service capabilities and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Graduation or technical certifications preferred.
• Experience repairing HP, Xerox, and Canon printers.
• Ability to diagnose at card level and hardware level.
• Knowledge of printer mechanics, sensors, rollers, and firmware.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HP/Xerox/Canon printers (Deskjet, A4, A3).
• Perform card-level and hardware-level repairs including boards, motors, sensors, rollers, fusers, power supply.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of printers.
• Install and configure printers at client locations.
• Replace faulty components and ensure smooth functioning.
• Provide on-site and off-site technical support to customers.
• Maintain service reports, documentation, and inventory of parts.
• Ensure quick turnaround time for all repair tickets.
• Coordinate with the team for escalations and spare parts requirements.
