M2P Fintech in Hyderabad is seeking a Solution Engineering Manager to lead a new team of SDEs, drive from scratch across cross-functional groups, and deliver scalable, low-latency fintech services. You will own the product engineering aspects and mentor engineers while partnering with product managers and risk teams.

The role requires 12+ years in software development, 5+ years in leadership, strong OO design, and hands‑on coding skills.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 12+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years leading engineering teams.

About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for a talented and experienced Solution Engineering Manager to drive new initiatives from scratch across cross functional teams and to rollout business transformational programs. In this role, you will build and grow a new team of SDEs with the help of Leads. You and your team will work with PEs, Product Managers, Risk Managers, TPMs and Senior Leadership to design, develop and deliver results while fostering inputs and participation from all levels of the organization.

You will be the engineering Owner for the products built by your teams. The services built will be highly scalable, low latency, secured and massively distributed. You'll be responsible for growing and mentoring engineers in your team, set the team culture. You will actively coach and provide feedback to your team members and invest in their career growth. Your team will own the design, delivery, deployment and actively manage operations of the services built.

What Will You Do in this Role

• Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution – from conception to delivery to operations.
• Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities that helps them succeed in their business goals.
• Work closely with engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
• Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Partner and integrate with the best in market to bring is best in class embedded fintech features.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
• Solve complex problems in an innovative way and deliver quality solutions while taking ownership and accountability of assigned things.
• Lead and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to development of best practices and ensure positive career development.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
• Experienced technology leader with 12+ years of software development experience including, 5+ years in building and leading strong engineering teams.
• Substantial experience in building complex and scalable solutions.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
• Strong service architecture and development experience with high performance and scalability
• Strong at technical goal setting for a project with actionable success metrics. Good knowledge and experience on measuring a service from user experience angle.
• Strong on driving for results and self‑motivated, strong learning mindset, with good understanding of related advanced/new technology. Keep up with the technology development in the related areas in the industry, which could be leveraged to enhance current architectures and build durable new ones.
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including ability to effectively communicate architectural issues and concepts to multiple organization levels and executive management.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong analytical thinking.
• Hands‑on coder with excellent debugging skills.
