Job summary

Biopatrika seeks a Mid-Senior level scientist to lead Advanced Synthetic Strategy Development, designing and executing complex multi-step routes and pushing innovative methodologies for challenging transformations.

You will mentor a talented team, collaborate with ADL, QA, EHS, and SCM, manage client communications, and drive projects to milestones while ensuring rigorous documentation and regulatory compliance.

Strong publication, patent, and conference presentation contributions are encouraged.

Qualifications

• PhD or PostDoc in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry.
• 8–12 years of industrial CRO setup experience.
• Mid-Senior level position.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex multi-step synthetic routes and develop innovative methodologies for challenging transformations.
• Address and resolve complex challenges in synthetic chemistry and assay development using advanced analytical skills.
• Coordinate multiple research projects and manage client communications to ensure milestones and quality results.

Job Description Advanced Synthetic Strategy Development:

Lead the design and implementation of complex multi-step synthetic routes, including the development of innovative methodologies for challenging organic transformations.

Utilize critical thinking and advanced technical and analytical skills to independently address and resolve complex challenges in synthetic chemistry and assay development.

Propose and implement innovative research strategies, actively contributing to scientific publications, patents, and presentations at conferences.

Ensure meticulous documentation of experimental procedures and results, preparing detailed reports that contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization and compliance with regulatory standards.

Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements within the lab, leading initiatives that enhance research productivity and effectiveness.

Adherence to safety regulations, quality assurance, and environmental standards, leading efforts to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.

Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and train team members, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring the team meets productivity targets and maintains high-quality standards in research outputs.

Work effectively with other departments (such as ADL, QA, EHS, SCM) to align research efforts with organizational goals, driving synergistic outcomes across projects.

Comprehensive Project Management:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing communications, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the delivery of project milestones and quality results.

Oversee and coordinate multiple research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Essential Qualification

PhD/Post Doc. in Organic Chemistry /Medicinal Chemistry 8-12 years of industrial experience in CRO Set-up
