Job summary

Pyramid E&C is seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Oil & Gas processes and be able to lead teams effectively on medium to large projects. You will be involved in preparing feasibility studies and ensuring adherence to international engineering standards.

The role requires strong communication skills for both written and spoken English along with a solid background in Chemical Engineering. Familiarity with software tools such as ASPEN and HYSYS is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading teams of engineers for medium to large-scale projects.
• Proficient in developing scope of work for FEED or detailed design packages.
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ISO and codes like ASME and ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of feasibility studies and techno-commercial assessments.
• Checking and approving process engineering documents from junior members.
• Conducting HAZOPs and safety studies.

Job description

• Advanced Knowledge of processes related Oil & Gas/Petroleum refining/petrochemicals/Water treatment/environmental safety.
• Preparation of concept & feasibility studies including techno-commercial aspects of the project.
• Preparing “Scope of Work” on behalf of client for developing a FEED or detailed design package.
• Should be able to effectively lead a team of minimum two to three engineers for medium to large – sized projects.
• Through understanding international standards related to process engineering such as API/ISO/NORSOK/NACE.
• Knowledge of company standards such as Shell, Total, BP, Exxon etc would be an advantage.
• Checking, analysis and approval of process engineering documents prepared by the junior team members.
• Have a good understanding of HSE practices and standards followed globally.
• Should have knowledge related to design of relief and flare systems.
• Conducting and participating in HAZOPs and safety studies.

Software/System Skills:

• ASPEN, HYSYS, HTFS, FLARENET
• Understanding of codes and standards like API, ASME, BS, ANSI, TEMA

Special Skills:

• Excellent Communication in English (Written & Spoken) and Presentation Skills.
• Management of Process team of engineers, designers and draughtsman.
• Experience in Multi Discipline engineering environment.

Education: Chemical Engineering Graduate from a recognized Institute.
