Job summary

Tuff Offshore Energy And Engineering in Chennai, India, seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to lead results in Oil & Gas EPC environments. You will apply your BE Chemical Engineering and 7–10 years of experience to develop PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulics, and datasheets while coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.

Offshore/FPSO experience is preferred, and the role involves client interface and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure safe, compliant process deliverables.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering required.
• 7-10 years of Process Engineering experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects.
• Offshore/FPSO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations and datasheets.
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS software.
• Experience in HAZOP/HAZID and process safety reviews.
• Experience in technical bid evaluation and vendor document review.
• Vendor coordination and subcontractor management experience.
• Independent handling of process engineering deliverables and client interface.

Role & responsibilities

• Strong experience in PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment sizing, line sizing, hydraulics and process datasheets.
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS software.
• Experience in HAZOP/HAZID and process safety reviews.
• Experience in technical bid evaluation, vendor document review and vendor coordination.
• Experience in subcontractor management, including technical coordination, deliverable review and follow-up.
• Capable of independently handling process engineering deliverables, client interface and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Offshore/FPSO experience will be preferred.
