Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru seeks a senior mechanical/chemical engineer with 12+ years of experience in Conceptual to Detailed Engineering for Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical projects. You will ensure compliance with international codes and standards and lead multidisciplinary teams to meet KPI-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to ensure On Time Quality Deliverable across static, rotating, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation design.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Conduct design reviews and review vendor drawings and Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Plan, monitor and control progress with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Lead engineering analysis and deliverables for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Maintain QA plans and RCA familiarity.

• Exposure to API and ASME Codes & Standards in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Capable of handling Engineering projects from prospecting stage to after delivery support with economical and efficient engineering as per KPI.
• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to ensure On Time Quality Deliverable. i.e Static Equipment/Vessel Design, Rotating Equipment Design, Piping Design, Structural design, Electrical, Instrumentation, Site and Fabrication Team.
• Co-Ordinate with Client, Consultants, Vendors & Contractors.
• Conduct Design reviews, Review Vendor drawings & Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Projects Analysis, defining milestones, planning activities, tracking progress and co-ordination with external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Planning, Performance Monitoring & Control, Vendor/Contractor proposal review and project progress reports of Green and brown field projects.
• Hands on experience in engineering & analysis in large MNC's and Engineering Consultants.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills with the ability to move cleanly from theoretical to implementation thinking.
• Familiar with Engineering deliverable Quality Assurance Plan and RCA

Work Experience

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Conceptual study, FEED, Detailed Engineering Projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical Industry complying with the client’s specifications & International Codes and Standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical engineering / chemical engineering with sound knowledge of Petrochemical / Refinery / Power plant system design and detailing.
• She/he should have the skills to work with diverse team of people, be innovative and adapt quickly to new and upcoming technologies.
