Job summary

WSP in Bengaluru seeks a senior façade engineer to provide technical leadership on building envelope design, construction methodology, and materials selection. You will mentor façade engineers, graduates, and technicians, and plan project resource allocation.

• Provide technical leadership and expert guidance on building envelope design, construction methodology, materials selection, and performance requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop façade engineers, graduates, and technicians.
• Plan and manage team resources, workload allocation, and project assignments.
• Prepare and review fee proposals, resource estimates, project plans, and change requests.
• Participate in design meetings, contributing to discussions and presenting scheme calculations and sketches.
• Conduct research on potential cladding materials.
• Prepare design reports for various stages of the project, including concept, scheme, and detail.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, environmental engineers, fire engineers, acousticians, and contractors.
• Participate in site inspections and assist in writing/reviewing reports.
