Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team seeks a PMO Lead with 15+ years of experience to drive multi-technology projects. You will manage both waterfall and Agile-Scrum efforts, establish best practices, create management decks, and monitor enterprise technology trends and standards.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners while maintaining quality, risk management, and timely delivery across programs. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of delivering multi-tech projects using Java/.Net, Power Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Oracle.
• Fluent in using AI technologies in project management.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of CICD, TDD and BDD approaches of software engineering.
• Experience in waterfall and Agile-Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with project/band management tools like Clarizen, JIRA, TFS.
• PM/Prince2 or PMP certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Leading PMO function managing multiple technology and cross-functional projects.
• Establish and own project management best practices, tools, SOPs, etc.
• Create management decks and enterprise technology trend reports; strong presentation skills.
• Plan, monitor and control multiple projects using organizational processes.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Adapt to the organization’s process framework with a proactive attitude.
• Oversee productivity, velocity, and talent development within the function.
• Manage enterprise dashboards, reports and event calendars aligned with deliverables.
• Consolidate partnerships across streams of supported tech CoEs.
• Monitor project phases, deliverables, quality and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and raise risks to supervisors at various levels and phases.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of delivering multi-tech projects developed in Java / .Net (Framework 4.5 and above) / MS Power Platform / Salesforce / ServiceNow / Oracle and Other Open Source Frameworks
• Fluent in using AI technologies in project management
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (MS Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Knowledge of CICD, TDD and BDD approaches of software engineering
• Should have demonstrable experience in waterfall and Agile-Scrum methodologies
• Experience in using project and bug management tools eg. Clarizen, JIRA, TFS etc.
• Industry recognized certification like PMP, Prince2 is an advantage
• Knowledge of basic and advanced delivery tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio

Well versed in estimation of work using various methodologies eg. Function Point Analysis, Work Break Down Structure etc.

Job Function

As a PMO Lead:

• Leading PMO function managing multiple technology and cross-functional projects by demonstrating best project management practices, stakeholder and team management skills
• Establish and own project management best practices, tools and techniques, SOPs etc.
• Adept in creating management decks, reports, R&D on enterprise technology trends, good presentation skills
• Planning, Monitoring and Controlling multiple projects using organizational processes and techniques
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders (Enterprise and business functions, Cyber Security, Corporate Audit etc.) and external partners (OEM, Implementation partners)
• Quickly adaptable to organization's process framework, enterprise environment with a self-starter and go getter attitude
• Managing team’s productivity, velocity, skills and talent development program within function
• Managing enterprise dashboard, management reports and various organization’s event calendar in line with associated deliverables
• Work on partner consolidation for various streams of managed support and tech CoEs
• Keep a hawk eye on all projects phases, deliverables, quality and timelines to gets project delivered on time
• Identify and raise risks to supervisors on time at different level and phases of project development
• Candidate must have an innovator’s mindset to research, introduce new trends and skills to team members and help in upskilling so that timely inclusion of new ideas / technologies can be planned in effective manner
