Job summary

CMA CGM in Thane region is seeking a seasoned IT Project/Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology initiatives. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and governance while guiding cross-functional teams across Applications, Cloud, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, Automation and Security.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, PMO governance and experience with Agile, Waterfall/Hybrid delivery models.

• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive decisions and resolve issues.
• Manage project finances including budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive risk, issue, dependency and change management.
• Oversee release planning, deployment and transition to operations.
• Manage vendors and partners, including SLAs and performance management.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies and promote best practices.
• Ensure IT governance, security, compliance and audits.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects, technology transformation and digital initiatives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and overall delivery governance.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Application Development, Cloud, Infrastructure, Data, Integration, DevOps, Automation and Security.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects/workstreams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Establish and drive project governance, PMO processes, RAID management, status reporting and steering committee reviews.
• Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to drive decisions, resolve issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and benefits realization.
• Drive risk, issue, dependency and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee release planning, deployment, cutover, hypercare and transition to operations.
• Manage technology vendors and implementation partners, including SLA, delivery, commercial and performance management.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies and promote project management best practices.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, compliance, audit and organizational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, delivery excellence and transformation initiatives across the organization.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1015+ years of overall IT experience with 10+ years in IT Project/Program Management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation, application modernization, cloud migration or enterprise technology projects.
• Strong experience in Agile, Waterfall/Hybrid, SAFe, PMO governance, RAID, risk and financial management.
• Excellent stakeholder and executive management skills with experience leading global, cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), APIs & Integrations, DevOps, Data, Automation/AI, RPA and enterprise applications.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, dependencies, risks, resources and multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Transportation or Shared Services will be preferred.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / PMI-ACP / CSM / SAFe / ITIL certification will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT/related field; MBA/Master’s preferred.
