KBR is seeking a Principal Designer with extensive piping design experience for onshore projects. The role focuses on maintaining piping design integrity while guiding a team of designers through project execution, from layout to procurement.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and deliverables meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 15–20 years in piping design, strong proficiency in S3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, and a Diploma in Mechanical

• Good knowledge of ISO checking and back drafting.
• Excellent skill to guide young designers.

Title: Principal Checker - Piping KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is looking for Principal Designer who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project. Responsibilities: Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts Layout optimisation study Preparation of MTO Review of Vendor package Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Excellent knowledge in S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation. Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts Good Knowledge of support selection and modelling. Special support drawing creation is preferable Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs Excellent skill to guide young designers Good knowledge in conceptual layout study Good Communication skills 15 - 20 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage.
