Job summary

KBR seeks an Offshore Engineer for its Sustainable Technology Solutions unit in India. Responsible for analysis and design of jacket/topside structures, preparing inputs for designers, and ensuring drawings meet project specs and codes.

The role requires 7–12 years of experience, with expertise in jacket/topside structures, and familiarity with SACS, GRL WEAP, SESAM, and Navisworks. Willingness to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with higher qualification preferred.
• 7–12 years of experience; minimum 4 years related experience.
• Sound knowledge in jacket/topside analysis and design.
• Ability to perform in-service and pre-service analyses (loadouts, lifts, transport).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design structures per project specs and codes.
• Prepare inputs and check drawings/documents per checklist.
• Coordinate with Designer for drawings development.
• Discuss technical specifications with client/counterpart and prepare docs.

Offshore Engineer - KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS)

Provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

Summary

Analysis and design the structure as per project technical specification and relevant codes and preparing the inputs to Designer to develop the drawing.

Responsibilities

• Codes and preparing the inputs to Designer to develop the drawing
• Checking and reviewing the Drawing /documents as per the checklist
• Analysis and design the structure as per project technical specification and relevant
• Preparation of Technical specification as per Discussion with Client/counterpart

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate Engineer + master's degree preferable
• Experience (7-12 year) minimum of 4 years related experience
• Should have sound knowledge in the analysis and design of Jacket/FPSO. topsides
• Capable to perform Jacket/Topside structures In-Service and Pre-Service analyses: In place, Loadout, Lift, Transportation etc.
• Software exposure in SACS & GRL WEAP, SESAM and Review of 3D model by Navisworks
• Quantity Estimation for steel structure and concrete structure
• Good Communication Skills
• Enthusiasm to learn new concepts and Adaptability to relocate to different centres / countries
