KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) in Chennai seeks a Design Supervisor with extensive piping design experience for onshore/offshore projects. You will safeguard piping integrity while guiding project execution and coordinating with designers and engineering teams.

Key duties include developing unit plot plans and equipment layouts, layout optimisation, MTO preparation, and reviewing vendor packages.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• Proficient with S3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical handling concepts.
• Knowledge of support selection and modelling.
• Special support drawing creation is preferable.
• Experience with ISO checking and back drafting; support ISO team.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior designers.
• Conceptual layout study proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 15-25 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities.
• Experience in LNG/Ammonia/ Refinery/FPSO will be considered an added advantage.

Sr. Checker Title: Sr. Checker KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is looking for Design Supervisor who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore/Offshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical
• Excellent knowledge in S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts
• Good Knowledge of support selection and modelling
• Special support drawing creation is preferable
• Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs
• Excellent skill to guide young designers
• Good knowledge in conceptual layout study
• Good Communication skills
• 15 - 25 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities
• Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage
• Experience in LNG/Ammonia/ Refinery/FPSO will be considered an added advantage
