Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy strategic plans to advance the school to world-class CBSE standards.
  • Assist the Principal in preparing institutional and annual plans and budgets.
  • Coordinate academic and administrative calendars with the Principal and department heads.
  • Oversee student welfare, discipline, attendance, and safeguarding of values and character building.
  • Lead teacher evaluations and staff development programs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support admissions, testing, placement, and assessment processes with the Principal.
  • Coordinate co-curricular activities and major events like Investiture, Sports Day and Annual Day.
  • Ensure CBSE affiliation compliance and liaise with DIOS/DOE and regulators.
  • Promote school brand, communicate with stakeholders, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Take charge in the principal's absence and handle routine stakeholder meetings.

Job Responsibilities :
  • Develop and deploy appropriate Strategies, Action Plans - Short Term and Long Term to take forward the School and build to a truly world class CBSE School.
  • Help the Principal in preparing and executing the Institutional Plan / Perspective Plan / Forecasting Plan/Annual Budget for the school and its overall development to enhance the performance of the school.
  • Planning of academic calendar, administrative calendar etc. in consultation with Principal and In-charges.
  • Ensure processes are implemented for envisaged results in respect of Human Learning, Inculcation of Values and character building, Career, Psychological counseling and taking care of children with special needs.
  • Coordinate the total education programmes of the concerned department both curricular and co-curricular.
  • Assisting with new admissions (planning, administering level placement tests, evaluation, and assessment along with Principal).
  • Provide support to Principal in implementation of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
  • Assist the Principal in conducting orientation for new students and in arranging in-service workshops.
  • Assist the Principal in quarterly/half yearly/yearly teachers’ evaluations and providing guidance to staff and students, and encouraging a positive climate in the school.
  • Monitor and review staff performance, providing guidance, support and conduct in-service training programs as appropriate in order to update and sustain their continuous improvement and well-being.
  • Help the new teachers in the department to acclimatize themselves in understanding the ethos of the school and the way of functioning in the department.
  • Plan, discuss and assist the principal with distribution of work load amongst the staff.
  • Supervision of school discipline amongst the staff and students, ensuring punctuality.
  • Supervise and monitor the functioning of School’s House system in reference to the allocation of new students based on their creativity, boys/girls ratio, activities allotted and their performance.
  • Organize demonstration lesson within the departments.
  • Planning, Supervising and Guiding Inter/Intra-school activities, as well as important events like: Investiture ceremony, Sports Day, Parents Orientation, Appreciation Day, Annual Day etc. along with Activity In-charge.
  • Assisting the principal in coordination with C.B.S.E. Board and various competitive examination.
  • Handle routine issues concerning Students, Parents and Staff (Teaching / Non-Teaching) and timely meeting them as and when required.
  • Prepare and submit all reports to the Principal / concerned authorities / management in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for continuous assessment, benchmarking, innovation and implementation of appropriate processes to constantly improve.
  • Supervise the correction of notebooks of students to ascertain the quality of work, amount of work, assignments, holiday homework and coordinating amongst Academic Coordinator, HOD’s and parallel teachers.
  • Coordination of Pre and Post analysis of home examination conducted and results in reference to the holistic growth of students with the principal and working out remedial measures to improve performance both for average students and gifted students.
  • Supervision and monitoring of the school programs on value education like Awakened citizen program, Awakening program by Rama Krishna Mission, Vivekananda study circle etc.
  • Periodically meeting the academic coordinator, faculty heads (HOD’s) to plan strategies to meet the academic goals set for the year.
  • Effectively manage People, Infrastructure and other resources.
  • Resolve conflicts between students, teachers, parents or combinations of conflicts between various individuals.
  • Taking Charge of the school in the absence of the principal/when principal is on leave.
  • Meeting visitors, parents and others pertaining to specific matters related to the school as directed by/in the absence of, the principal.
  • Assisting the Principal in CBSE affiliation and compliance of DIOS/DOE, local regulatory authorities, media and Crisis management.
  • Promote the aims and values of the school and brand building by ensuring effective communications with all stakeholders, including School Management, staff, pupils, parents and the community served by the school like DM,DIOS/DOE/ CBSE/ Print & electronic media.
  • To uphold the school's policy in respect of child protection and assist the Principal in maintaining all records pertaining to various committees as recommended by various regulatory bodies including POCSO.
  • Establish procedures that help in maintaining an aesthetic climate, healthy, clean, and safe facilities in the school.
  • Any other assignment given by Principal / Concerned Authorities / Management from time to time.
Education Qualification:

Excellent academic track record. Regular B.Ed., Graduation, Post-Graduation in any Teaching subject.

Experience:
  • 3-5 years in the rank of Vice Principal/ Sr. Coordinator in Schools of repute with student strength in the range of 2500 students and above. Preferred age group 40-50 years. Experience of managing Global level Schools preferred.
