Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a project engineering professional to support tender reviews, plant modelling in a 3D environment, and detailed electrical, civil, and structural coordination. You will prepare and review grounding, busbar, and civil inputs, and interact directly with customers and project teams.

The role requires interfacing with BIM360 for 3D modelling and data exchange, ensuring safety standards, and delivering accurate work plans and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing tender/bidding specifications.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and interfacing with BIM360.
• Strong coordination across electrical, mechanical, civil disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review Tender / Bidding Specification and ensure completeness.
• Model plant in 3D and interface with ACC / BIM360.
• Prepare, review grounding, lightning, and busbar layouts and civil inputs.
• Coordinate project engineering across disciplines and with customers.

Job description

• Review of Tender / Bidding Specification
• Plant Modelling in 3D Environment with interface with ACC / BIM360
• Preparation, Review of FACTS Layout (Yard Arrangement, Buildings, Grounding, Lightning Protection)
• Preparation and Review of Civil Input Information (Foundation, Conduit, Trench, and other Civil Requirements)
• Calculations and Layouts for Grounding, Lightning, Busbar system data, Ampacity, cantilever & Magnetic Field Calculations
• Preparation and Review of Detailed Steel Drawings (For Manufacturing / Procurement & Installation)
• Purchasing Steel, Al, Connectors, Switchyard Equipment
• Coordinate Project Engineering on a range of engineering disciplines e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil, structural engineering.
• Project engineering activities such as planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment)
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
• Creating work plans and cost estimates; scope, budget and schedule for assignments.
• Interact directly with customers, project management, contractors and supply chain.
