Job summary

Konvertor in Maharashtra seeks a maintenance technician to service press machines, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults. You will inspect dies, cylinders, bearings, gears, clutches, brakes, and lubrication systems, and perform planned maintenance as per the schedule.

Responsibilities include attending breakdowns, identifying root causes, maintaining records and coordinating spare parts.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of press machines or similar equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Familiarity with inspection of dies, cylinders, bearings, gears, clutches, brakes and lubrication systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on press machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.
• Inspect critical components such as dies, cylinders, bearings, gears and lubrication systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance as per schedule.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore operation safely and quickly.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.
• Monitor critical spare parts and coordinate replacements.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification and improvements.
• Adhere to safety procedures, LOTO, and 5S standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Engineering to reduce downtime.
• Ensure machines operate within performance and safety parameters.
