Job summary

Leap Scholar is seeking an Education Counselor role based in Pune, focusing on online counseling sessions with students aspiring to study abroad. You will guide course selection, universities, and programs, and help prepare applications to drive enrollment growth.

The role requires strong communication, CRM familiarity, and a proven ability to meet targets in a fast-paced Edtech environment. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth student experience and timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students.
• Guide students on course selection based on profile and interests.
• Assist students in deciding on universities/colleges and programs to apply to.
• Assist in preparing and filing applications.
• Maintain follow-ups and a high conversion pipeline to meet enrollment targets.
• Use CRM tools to manage leads and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for student conversions.

About the Role :

Leap Scholar is a one-stop platform for any aspirant wishing to study abroad. It is a transaction platform for students to apply to the university of choice.

The charter for this role will include :

• Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad
• Guide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interests
• Assist students in deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to apply to
• Assist in preparing and filing their applications
• Maintain follow-ups and a high conversion pipeline to meet enrollment targets
• Use CRM tools to manage leads efficiently and ensure timely follow-up and closure
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for student conversions

Ideal Persona would :

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of CRM

• Prior experience in study abroad or Edtech industry is preferred
