Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks a structural engineer with strong experience in reinforced concrete design and precast construction. You will review and develop safe, code-compliant designs for large-scale projects and coordinate with architects and service consultants on site.

The role requires proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and MEP inputs, and in preparing general arrangement and production drawings. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast construction.
• Expertise on relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, PCI manuals, ACI, relevant FIB manuals).
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAFE, CONCISE BEAM).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
• Proficiency in preparation and checking of General arrangement drawings and production drawings.
• Capable of coordinating with architects and service consultants on safe designs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; team player.

• He/ She should have expertise on relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, PCI manuals, ACI, relevant FIB manuals etc).
• Should have proficiency in structural analysis & design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE & CONCISE BEAM).
• Should have the ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
• The candidate should have proficiency in the preparation and checking of General arrangement drawings and Production drawings.
• Coordinating with architects, service consultants, site etc., to reach agreement about safe designs and how they may fit in with the aesthetic concept of the construction
• The candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills & should be a team player.
