Infosys is seeking a Practice Lead for Internal Communications to own a defined portfolio of programs with end-to-end accountability across planning, execution and measurement. Job description

  • The Practice Lead will own and independently lead a defined portfolio of Internal Communications programs and/or practice capabilities, with end-to-end accountability for planning, stakeholder management, execution, measurement and continuous improvement within the assigned portfolio.
  • The role will partner closely with senior leaders, HR, business and enabling functions to translate organizational priorities into compelling communications and meaningful employee experiences across audiences, channels and geographies.
  • The role will require a strong combination of strategic thinking, communications expertise, stakeholder management and hands-on execution, with the ability to operate effectively in a large, global and matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Practice Lead will be assigned a defined portfolio across some of the following areas, based on organizational priorities, business requirements and individual strengths:

Strategic Internal Communications & Integrated Campaigns

  • Own and deliver assigned Internal Communications programs and integrated campaigns aligned with business, people and organizational priorities.
  • Translate organizational priorities into clear, compelling employee narratives and communication experiences.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across stakeholders, audiences, channels and geographies.
  • Use reach, engagement, feedback and other relevant insights to measure effectiveness and continuously improve communication programs.

Leadership & Stakeholder Communications

  • Own assigned executive communication requirements, including leadership narratives, messages, talking points and briefing materials.
  • Partner with CXO offices and senior leaders on employee engagements, town halls, leadership forums and other communication platforms.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence communication outcomes across senior leadership, HR and business teams.

Large-Scale Events & Employee Experiences

  • Own assigned enterprise events, employee experiences, leadership forums, town halls, conferences and other high-visibility organizational platforms.
  • Lead the end-to-end experience across content, narrative, audience engagement, leadership participation, communication and execution.
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR, business teams, external partners and enabling functions to deliver high-quality, purpose-led experiences.

Employer Brand, Employee Advocacy & Storytelling

  • Lead assigned employer branding, employee advocacy and storytelling initiatives that strengthen employee pride, organizational reputation and talent attraction and retention.
  • Develop compelling employee stories and campaigns showcasing culture, employee experiences, achievements and organizational impact.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, business teams and other stakeholders to create content for internal and external platforms.
  • Leverage relevant digital and social platforms, including LinkedIn and Glassdoor, to strengthen employer brand and employee advocacy.

Internal Digital Channels, Content & Technology

  • Own assigned elements of the Internal Communications digital ecosystem, including channels, content, deployment and employee communication experience.
  • Develop differentiated content across formats including leadership communications, newsletters, videos, podcasts, employee stories and digital campaigns.
  • Partner with Information Systems, Talent Transformation and other enabling functions to improve communication platforms, deployment, automation and technology-enabled experiences.
  • Explore emerging platforms, formats, AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve communication reach and effectiveness.

Communications Operations, Governance & Last-Mile Enablement

  • Own relevant Internal Communications operating processes, deployment mechanisms, governance and compliance requirements within the assigned portfolio.
  • Partner with Information Systems and other enabling functions on platform, access, deployment and operational requirements.
  • Support adherence to relevant organizational requirements, including DPO, data privacy, information security and access management.
  • Contribute to mechanisms that strengthen last-mile communication effectiveness across HR, business and functional teams, including the Internal Communications Index.
  • Develop and implement appropriate processes, playbooks, guidelines and toolkits to enable consistent and efficient communication execution.

Analytics, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive measurement and analytics for assigned communication programs, including relevant dashboards, reporting and performance indicators.
  • Translate employee feedback, channel data and communication insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the scale, speed, relevance and effectiveness of Internal Communications.
  • Lead pilots and initiatives involving new communication approaches, AI, automation, analytics and emerging technologies.

Leadership Visits & Enterprise Employee Connects

  • Own assigned elements of the enterprise leadership visit program across Infosys locations, partnering with leadership offices, location HR and business stakeholders.
  • Design and coordinate tailored employee connects, leadership engagements, town halls and targeted employee-group interactions based on the purpose, audience and context of each visit.
  • Manage the end-to-end visit experience across planning, stakeholder alignment, communication, logistics, leadership briefing, on-ground execution and post-visit follow-through.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a high-volume leadership engagement program across locations, with a target of 40+ leadership visits annually across the broader team.
  • Lead assigned Internal Communications inputs for Annual Reports, ESG/Sustainability Reports, Board communications and other high-visibility enterprise deliverables.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, ESG, Finance, Investor Relations, Brand and other stakeholders to develop and consolidate content, narratives, data and organizational stories.
  • Manage stakeholder reviews, approvals and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Employee Engagement, Employer Branding, Events or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated communication programs within a large, complex or global organization.
  • Strong expertise in one or more areas of Internal Communications, with the ability to understand and collaborate across the broader communications ecosystem.
  • Strong experience in strategic storytelling, leadership communications, stakeholder management and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-visibility programs, large-scale events, employee experiences, leadership engagements or enterprise communication initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication channels, content ecosystems, employer branding and employee advocacy.
  • Experience working with senior leadership, HR, business teams and technology/enabling functions in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical capability and an ability to use data, employee feedback and insights to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Understanding of communications operations, governance, data privacy, compliance and technology-enabled deployment.
  • Curiosity and adaptability towards AI, automation, emerging technologies and new communication models.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, judgement, problem-solving, influencing and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate comfortably between strategic planning, stakeholder advisory and hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build partnerships and drive outcomes across organizational boundaries.
