Job summary

Infosys Limited in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Practice Lead to drive Finance Process Discovery initiatives. You will engage CFOs, lead assessments, and direct transformation opportunities across P2P, O2C, and R2R domains.

Lead a team of consultants, craft TO-BE models, risk docs, and business cases, while presenting solutions to senior client leaders and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Commerce Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance-related field.
• Preferred consulting/BPM background.
• 15+ years of experience in finance operations with P2P/O2C knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement & CFO dialogue and sign off on assessments & recommendations.
• Perform Gap Analysis & Benchmarking of Finance processes (P2P, O2C) to identify transformation opportunities.
• Create Target Operating Models, as-is/to-be flows, risk & controls docs, and roadmaps.
• Present solutions to senior leaders and manage timely delivery of Discovery programs.
• Manage 4–5 JL5 consultants and ensure CSAT during the Discovery phase.
• Build long-term relationships with stakeholders and govern project progress independently.

• As a Discovery Lead
• Leads stakeholder engagement & CFO dialogue
• Signs off on all assessments & recommendations
• Drives the commercial relationship & scope
• Accountable for outcomes and client satisfaction
• As a Discovery Consultant
• Conduct - Gap Analysis & Benchmarking of a client’s Finance function (focus on P2P, O2C business processes) tohelp arrive at transformation opportunities. These Process Discovery programs are 4-6 weeks in duration leading uptoa high-quality end Report which the client can leverage to majorly uplift their Finance process to best-in-class
• Create - Ability to create multiple artifacts such as Target Operating Models, As-Is and To-Be process flows, ProcessRisk & Controls Documents, Business Case Roadmaps. Should be capable of identifying process improvements.
• Present - Proven expertise in presenting winning solutions to senior leadership levels in client organizations.
• Manage – Timely and noiseless execution of F&A Process Discovery programs by interacting with clients and Infosysstakeholders
• People Management
• Manage consultants (JL5)…ability to manage 4-5 such JL5
• Stakeholder Management
• Building long-term relations with stakeholders and handling major escalations if any in the Process Discovery phase
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders in Client organization to drive over all Process Discovery objectives and CSAT

Education, Experience, Skills

• Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate (B. Com, BBM, M. Com / MBA -Fin.)
• Preferred background being Consulting, BPM
• 15+ years of experience in finance operations work with expertise in P2P / O2C related processes in a BPO/SharedServices environment
• Ability to design Best-in-Class Finance processes combining the best of AI, Digital and Domain
• Open to travel

Domain expert in any 1 of these domains

• P2P: Be well equipped with PTP process; Invoice Processing, Vendor Query Management, Intercompany, EmployeeTravel & Expense Reimbursement, Payroll accounting and Payments, Invoice QC, Month End Activities & MISReportingOr
• O2C: Be well equipped with O2C process; Credit, Billing, Cash application, Collection, AR Ageing, AR Reporting,Month End Activities & MIS ReportingOr
• R2R: Be well equipped with R2R process; Journal Entry, Reconciliation, Intercompany, Fixed Asset Accounting, PeriodEnd Close, Consolidation, Management and Statutory Reporting

• Exposure to leading ERPs like Oracle/SAP ERP / Concur
• Required good knowledge on MS Excel. Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Macros will be an advantage
• Good communication (Verbal & Written) and Analytical skills
