Job summary

Centex Exports in Ludhiana, India seeks an experienced PPC Manager to oversee production planning, capacity utilization, order scheduling and shipment timelines. You will ensure smooth cross-department coordination, optimize efficiency and dispatch orders on time without overloading factory capacity.

The role requires 10+ years in PPC/Production Planning within garment export houses, strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, MRP, T&A calendars and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Apparel Production, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in PPC / Production Planning, preferably in garment manufacturing or apparel export houses.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and export order execution.
• Hands-on experience in capacity planning, line loading, SAM / SMV, line balancing and efficiency calculation.
• Knowledge of MRP, fabric and trims planning, T&A calendar and shipment coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong coordination, analytical, problem-solving and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans based on order requirements, factory capacity and delivery schedules.
• Manage capacity planning, line loading and allocation of styles across production lines.
• Prepare and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars for export orders.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Commercial teams for timely availability of fabrics, trims and accessories.
• Monitor pre-production activities, including PP meetings, size-set approvals and pilot runs.
• Track daily production across cutting, stitching, processing, finishing and packing.
• Monitor plan vs. actual production and take corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and production resources.
• Coordinate with Quality, Finishing and Export teams to ensure timely shipment and achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Maintain production reports, WIP status, capacity reports and planning MIS through ERP.
