Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, plant capacity and material availability.
• Material & Inventory Control: Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to order raw and packaging materials in advance; maintain BOM and track WIP and buffer stocks.
• Production Control & Shop Floor Coordination: Issue work orders and production blueprints; monitor output and adjust schedules for delays, downtime or quality rejections.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs like schedule adherence, on-time delivery, machine utilization and scrap rate; prepare daily/weekly reports for management.

Job Title: Production Planning and Control (PPC) Executive

A Production Planning and Control (PPC) Executive acts as the central nervous system of a manufacturing facility, bridging the gap between incoming sales orders and shop floor execution. The role ensures that the right products are made, in the right quantity, at minimum cost, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, plant capacity and material availability. Perform line balancing, routing and sequencing to reduce changeover times.
• Material & Inventory Control: Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to order raw and packaging materials in advance. Maintain Bill of Materials and track Work‑in‑Progress and buffer stocks to avoid over‑production.
• Production Control & Shop Floor Coordination: Issue work orders and production blueprints. Monitor actual output on the shop floor, detect delays and troubleshoot issues such as machine downtime or quality rejections, adjusting schedules as needed.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs such as schedule adherence, on‑time delivery, machine utilization and scrap rate. Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for senior management.
