Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in power plant projects. The role focuses on design of main electrical equipment, preparation of technical specs and data sheets, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate will review electrical equipment sizing, prepare SLDs and protection schematics, and participate in technical bid evaluations. Knowledge of IEC/IEEE/NEC/NFPA/ANSI codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in power plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of generation technologies and generator ancillary systems.
• Experience in FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Experience with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IP, ISO codes.
• Ability to review data sheets and bid evaluations.

Job description

Summary of the position

Professionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in POWER PLANT projects (Combined cycles, Coal Fired, Biomass, etc). Strong knowledge of generation technologies and generator ancillary systems (excitation systems, starting systems, governors, generation protection, synchronization, etc.) and their integration into the electrical system of the plant. Having good experience in FEED and Detail Engineering. Experience in the design of generator circuit breakers and isolated phase busducts Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets, RFQ/RFPs and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials, mainly related with Power plant projects. Strong skills in single line drawings, schematics and control & protection systems. Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IP, ISO. Capable to provide support on technical aspects for the proper development of complex Power Plant projects. Experience in PMT/PMC is desirable
