Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a senior electrical engineer with 10+ years of experience in power plant projects to lead design and engineering activities. The role covers generator auxiliaries, control and protection systems, and interface with other disciplines to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient plant electrical systems.

Candidate will review technical specs, prepare data sheets, and perform sizing calculations while supporting bid evaluations and vendor data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of power plant experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IP and ISO standards.
• Experience in FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Ability to review specs, data sheets and bid evaluations.
• Proficient in single line diagrams and protection systems.
• Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

Job description

Summary of the position

Professionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in POWER PLANT projects (Combined cycles, Coal Fired,

Biomass, etc).

Strong knowledge of generation technologies and generator ancillary systems (excitation systems, starting systems, governors, generation protection, synchronization, etc.)

and their integration into the electrical system of the plant.

Having good experience in FEED and Detail Engineering. Experience in the design of generator circuit breakers and isolated phase busducts

Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets, RFQ/RFPs and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials, mainly related with Power plant

projects. Strong skills in single line drawings, schematics and control & protection systems. Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IP,

ISO.

Capable to provide support on technical aspects for the proper development of complex Power Plant projects.

Experience in PMT/PMC is desirable
