About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics R&D professional with 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of Inverters, UPS, Online UPS systems, and PCBs.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical exposure to end-to-end product development, from circuit design and PCB development to prototype testing, troubleshooting, validation, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Inverter, UPS, and Online UPS systems from concept to prototype and production.
- Perform hands-on power electronics circuit design and development.
- Design and develop Power PCBs and Control PCBs for inverter and UPS applications.
- Work on SMPS, power conversion, switching circuits, MOSFET/IGBT-based power stages, and protection circuits.
- Develop and test DC-DC and DC-AC power conversion circuits.
- Conduct prototype development, testing, debugging, and performance validation.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware, PCB, power-stage, and control-related issues.
- Work on improving product efficiency, reliability, thermal performance, and overall system performance.
- Coordinate with the production, testing, quality, and engineering teams for product development and implementation.
- Provide technical support during prototype-to-production transfer.
- Review existing designs and implement design improvements and modifications.
- Prepare and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, technical specifications, and design documentation.
Required Technical Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Power Electronics R&D.
- Strong hands-on experience in making/designing Inverters.
- Hands-on experience in UPS and Online UPS development.
- Strong practical experience in PCB design and development.
- Experience in power electronics circuit design, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of MOSFET/IGBT-based power stages and switching circuits.
- Experience with power conversion and control circuits.
- Strong capability to independently handle product development and R&D activities.
Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with strong hands-on and practical R&D exposure will be preferred.
- Candidates who have independently worked on Inverter/UPS/Online UPS product development will be highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Power Electronics manufacturing/product companies will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and team-coordination skills.
Salary
10 LPA – 25 LPA, depending on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, and relevant industry exposure.
