Tractebel Engineering Private Limited (IN) is seeking a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee to shape the electrical design for hydropower and pumped storage projects. You will lead from concept to detailed engineering, selecting generators and auxiliaries to meet complex requirements and ensuring full system integration.

The role requires an electrical engineering degree and 8+ years in hydro electrical design, with IEC/IEEE standards knowledge and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design for hydropower or large rotating machinery projects.
• Strong knowledge of generator systems, transformers, and electrical balance of plant.
• Familiarity with IEC and IEEE standards for power generation equipment.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and with international project teams.
