Job summary

Tractebel is seeking a Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer – Detail Engineering in Gurgaon. You will lead detailed electrical design for high‑end projects, coordinating with global teams across Oil & Gas and energy sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 10–15 years of FEED/Detail Eng. You will work on protection, control, interfaces with DCS/PLC/SCADA, and hazardous area design while mentoring juniors.ENGIE Group network offers growth and diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering consulting or EPCM environments.
• FEED and Detail Engineering experience for Oil & Gas or Energy projects.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and API standards for electrical protection and control.
• Experience with relay coordination, control schematics, and system interfaces.
• Hazardous area design and intrinsic safety knowledge.
• Excellent cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems (protection, control, interlocking, monitoring).
• Develop and review protection and control philosophies for Oil & Gas and Energy facilities.
• Design control and relay schematics, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and cable schedules to international standards.
• Define interfaces with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ESD systems.
• Review vendor documents, participate in technical bids, manage design deviations.
• Support hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety design requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• - Lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems including protection, control, interlocking, and monitoring schemes.

What You Bring
