XT Group in Mumbai is seeking an ERP Operations & Support Specialist to manage daily PAL ERP operations, PMS across the fleet, and related improvements. The role collaborates with internal teams and ERP vendors to ensure smooth system performance.

The candidate will train seafarers and office personnel, develop user manuals, and support data analysis initiatives. Strong communication and a service-driven mindset are essential.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily PAL ERP operations including PMS, QHSE, Voyage, and Drydock.
• Lead PMS deployments across new vessels and ensure data consistency.
• Train seafarers and office staff; develop user manuals.
• Coordinate with ERP vendors to implement product enhancements.
• Perform QA testing of new functionalities and smooth rollouts.
• Support data analysis initiatives and BI tools QA.
• Generate reports for senior management.
• Utilize Jira and Service Desk to resolve issues.

Highly motivated and detail-oriented ERP Operations & Support Specialist to manage the daily operations, support, and continuous improvement of our PAL ERP system, with a focus on maritime. This role involves managing PMS-related projects across the fleet, ensuring consistency and efficiency, and working closely with internal teams and ERP vendors to ensure smooth system performance. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably PAL), a solid understanding of planned maintenance in maritime operations, and strong interpersonal skills to lead user training, documentation, and system implementation projects. A service-driven mindset, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills are key to success in this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations, support, and maintenance of PAL ERP modules including:
• Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
• QHSE
• Voyage
• Drydock
• Data Library
• Conduct quality assurance and resolve implementation challenges related to PMS; ensure uniform structure and efficient database management across the fleet.
• Oversee the implementation of PMS database of new vessels.
• Deliver training for seafarers and office personnel to ensure effective system usage.
• Liaise with ERP software vendor to align product enhancements with company needs.
• Perform QA testing of new functionalities and oversee smooth rollouts.
• Participate in QA for internally developed BI tools and support data analysis initiatives.
• Create and maintain user manuals and documentation for ERP modules.
• Generate reports as required for senior management.
• Utilize issue tracking tools like Jira and Service Desk to resolve technical problems efficiently.

Requirements:

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably PAL.
• Sailing experience will be an additional advantage.
• Strong understanding of PMS and marine operations.
• Experience with training, documentation, and user support.
• Proficient in project management and helpdesk platforms.
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
