The role will serve as the central point of coordination across multiple workstreams and transition waves, ensuring alignment on programme milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, budgets, and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience establishing and managing a PMO for complex transformation programmes, GCC setups, or shared-services transitions, with strong stakeholder management and executive reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. PMO Framework & Governance
- Establish and implement the PMO operating model, including governance structures, reporting standards, templates, operating rhythms, and escalation mechanisms.
- Define and maintain consistent programme management standards across all workstreams and transition waves.
- Lead programme governance forums, including Steering Committee (SteerCo) and programme board meetings.
2. Programme Planning & Dependency Management
- Own and maintain the integrated master programme plan, including milestones, deliverables, critical paths, and transition timelines.
- Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, schedule conflicts, and delivery risks.
- Consolidate inputs from Transition Leads and Workstream Leads into a unified programme-level view.
3. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Provide accurate, timely, leadership-ready reporting on programme status, milestones, risks, financials, and key decisions.
- Act as the single source of truth for transformation progress across GCC leadership, source-location teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Business, IT, HR, Finance, Facilities, Service Management, and external implementation partners.
4. Risk, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies (RAID)
- Maintain and govern a consolidated programme-level RAID log across all workstreams.
- Monitor emerging risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring clear ownership and mitigation plans.
- Escalate material risks and delivery blockers with actionable recommendations.
5. Financial & Benefits Management
- Track programme budgets, actual expenditure, forecasts, and financial variances against the approved business case.
- Monitor transformation benefits, cost-to-serve improvements, and planned value realization.
- Partner with Finance and workstream owners to identify deviations and support corrective actions.
6. Change Control & Delivery Assurance
- Manage formal change-control processes for scope, schedule, budget, and programme deliverables.
- Ensure change impacts are assessed, documented, and approved through the appropriate governance forums.
- Coordinate transition-wave and cutover readiness reviews, ensuring milestones, risk closures, evidence, and stakeholder sign-offs are completed.
7. Resource & Capacity Management
- Maintain a consolidated view of programme resource requirements, allocations, and capacity across workstreams.
- Partner with HR and Workstream Leads to identify resource gaps and address constraints affecting programme delivery.
- Track resource dependencies and elevate capacity risks.
8. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop PMO Analysts and Coordinators.
- Delegate and oversee programme tracking, reporting, governance documentation, and action-log management.
- Ensure high-quality PMO outputs, data accuracy, and timely delivery of governance deliverables.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in programme management, PMO leadership, transformation governance, or large-scale project management.
- Proven experience setting up and managing a PMO for a complex, multi-workstream transformation programme, GCC setup, or shared-services transition.
- Strong expertise in integrated programme planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and executive-level reporting.
- Hands-on experience managing programme-level RAID logs, risk mitigation, issue escalation, and governance forums.
- Experience tracking transformation budgets, financial forecasts, business cases, and benefits realization.

- Exposure to multi-country transformation programmes and source-location-to-GCC transitions.
- Experience working with advisory firms, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
- Relevant programme or project management certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP, would be an advantage.
Key Success Measures
