Job summary

Idexcel in Chennai (Prefer) / Bangalore is seeking a Catia V5+ 3DX Engineer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience to drive CATIA design efforts across parts, assemblies, and drafting. The role requires strong GD&T knowledge and familiarity with PLM workflows.

You will collaborate with product teams, ensure accurate BOMs, manage CAD data, and optimize engineering drawings for manufacturing. Preference for Chennai location, with Bangalore as alternate.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drafting.
• Experience working with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM), CAD data management, and BOM management.
• Understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on CATIA V5 Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drafting.
• Work with 3DEXPERIENCE platform for design and collaboration.
• Maintain CAD data, BOM data, and PLM processes.
