Idexcel invites an experienced CAD Automation Specialist to strengthen our CATIA automation capabilities in Pune. You will develop CATIA macros/scripts, automate repetitive CAD tasks, and maintain automation libraries while ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.

The role requires expertise in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE APIs, EKL, VBA/VBScript, and scripting in Python/JavaScript to enhance design workflows and CAD data management within PLM-enabled environments.

Job Title- CAD Automation Specialist

Overall Exp-8-10 Years

Location-Pune

Mandatory Skills- CAD automation & customization in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE including Knowledge of APIs for CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE, EKL, Scripting language(VBA/VBScript),

CAD data structures, parametric modeling, and design intent, CATIA templates, Power Copies.

Qualification-B.Tech/M.Tech

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing CATIA macros / scripts
• Automate repetitive CAD tasks
• Troubleshoot automation related issues
• Maintain automation libraries and templates
• Ensure automation follows company standard and best practices
• Create documents and user guide
• Manage automation deployment on the platform
• Validate compatibility across collaborative spaces and apps

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience 8-10 Years
• CAD automation & customization in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE including Knowledge of APIs for CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE
• Proficiency in EKL (Engineering Knowledge Language) and scripting languages such as VBA, VBScript
• Preferably knowledge on JavaScript and Python
• Strong understanding of CAD data structures, parametric modeling, and design intent.
• Experience with CATIA templates, Power Copies, and Knowledge ware tools.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD data management.
