Job summary

EinNel Technologies currently seeks a Catia Design Engineer in Chennai with 2–6 years of CATIA V5 Part Design and surface modelling experience. You will develop 3D models for automotive components, create precise Class-A/B/C surfaces, and generate robust 2D drawings with GD&T and manufacturing details.

You'll handle ECN-driven design changes, ensure compliance with automotive standards, and collaborate with CAE, tooling, and manufacturing teams while maintaining thorough design documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in CATIA V5 Part Design and surface modelling.
• Proficient in Generative Shape Design (GSD) and assembly design.
• Experience with automotive plastics, sheet metal, or cast components.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards and manufacturing processes.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of automotive components using CATIA V5 Part Design and GSD.
