Job summary

Danprel seeks an automation engineer with 0–3 years of experience to support design, installation, and commissioning of PLC-based systems in a dynamic environment.

Candidates should have hands-on PLC/HMI experience across Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, AB and Schneider platforms, plus SCADA familiarity and strong analytical skills. The role requires independent work within cross-functional teams and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of experience in automation or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in the engineering design, installation, and commissioning of PLC-based systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Knowledge of control logic, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Knowledge about programming using function blocks.
• Knowledge about programming special devices like Servo and Testing Instruments.

Responsibilities

• Involved in engineering design, installation and commissioning of PLC-based systems.
• Work on PLC & HMI programming across SIEMENS, Mitsubishi, Omron, AB & Schneider PLCs.
• Engage with HMI/SCADA systems and networking protocols.
• Apply knowledge of electrical safety and circuits.
• Develop and follow functional blocks programming.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualification: B.E or Diploma (Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics)

Experience: 0 to 3 Years of experience in Automation or a related field

• Hands-on experience in the engineering design, installation, and commissioning of PLC-based systems.
• Experienced in PLC & HMI programming in SIEMENS, Mitsubishi, Omron, AB & Schneider PLCs.
• Expertise in software engineering practices, principles, and standards.
• Experience working with HMI/SCADA systems, and networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, etc).
• Knowledge of electrical and control system design fundamentals, including control logic, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Knowledge about programming using function blocks.
• Knowledge in SCADA programming will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge about programming special devices like Servo, Testing Instruments, Nut runner and other controllers.
• Basic knowledge about electrical safety and circuits.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to apply analytical rigour to complex engineering challenges.
